Trust us, you won't forget it

When you ask people around the world what they associate with Norway, chances are a lot of them will answer "fjords". Norway has a multitude of fjords, all of which have their own unique characteristics. By taking one of our tours you can get an unforgettable experience of our beautiful Norwegian fjords. Explore Norway in the most spectacular way.

THE PULPIT ROCK HIKE

The Pulpit Rock (Preikestolen) is one of Rogaland county’s most visited attractions, and one of the country’s most spectacular photo subjects. Preikestolen has been named one of the world’s most spectacular viewing points by both CNN Go and Lonely Planet. It rises 604 metres above the Lysefjord.

THE PULPIT ROCK AIR

On this helicopter sightseeing tour you will experience breathtaking scenery, and you have the opportunity to take close-up pictures of the Pulpit Rock from a birds-eye view. The Pulpit Rock is a steep cliff rising 604 meters (1,982 feet) from sea level in Lysefjord, and it is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Norway. On the way there we will pass the mountain of Kjerag, a famous spot for base-jumpers because of the 984m (3,228 feet) drop into the fjord.

KJERAG BOLTEN HIKE

At 1084 metres, Kjerag towers above the other peaks along the Lysefjord. It has been traditional to admire this mountain face from the fjord, but in recent years, it has become increasingly popular to walk up the path to the plateau. Most people are happy just to enjoy the view of the Lysefjord from the plateau itself, but for some hikers, the climax of the excursion is to be photographed on the Kjeragbolten, a round rock wedged solidly in a mountain crevice.

FUN FACT ABOUT KJERAG

At mountain Kjerag, in one specific place just before reaching the top of the mountain, you can sometimes hear a sound similar to that of a gunshot and see smoke coming out of the mountain. Why this happens, nobody knows for sure, however the locals have for years assumed that it is water being forced out of the mountain.

“Wow where do I begin!! This hike was absolutely incredible. I went at the very start of the hiking season with snow still along the hike in places and it just added to the charm! So scenic along the whole hike.”
